may reside at the home at no cost.

Honoring the Legacy of

William R. (Bill) Courtney

The home is named in honor of First Lieutenant William R. Courtney, U.S. Army (1942–1946), who served in the 10th Mountain Infantry Division in Italy during World War II.

A lifelong advocate for civic service, Lt. Courtney’s leadership and dedication to the Temple community left a lasting mark on Central Texas.

His legacy of integrity, compassion, and service to others continues to inspire our work and commitment to excellence.
